In-line with their market expansion plans they are developing green power solutions for renewable energy producers and companies from trade and industry. As such they now have an exciting career opportunity for a Junior Murex specialist to join them in either Oslo or Dusseldorp.

As part of your role you will be expected to:

Strengthen the team responsible for the system portfolio of the trading and risk management department. You will be placed in an environment with highly skilled colleagues and will be expected to take a leading role in the further development of the system portfolio. Murex is the main trading and risk management system used by our client. The system is used across their sites in Oslo, Trondheim, Stockholm, London, Düsseldorf and Amsterdam.

As the Junior Murex Specialist your responsibilities will be to:

• Growing into a Murex Support role for all relevant business processes in Front-, Middle- and Back Office
• Develop technical solutions based on our business requirements
• Perform functional configurations
• Cooperate closely with business and vendor

Our client are looking for a specialist that has the following skills and experience:

• You bring along SQL-Coding know-how, database knowledge (preferably Oracle) and / or skills in other programming languages (Python, Java, XML, etc.)
• Experience in modern development methods and environments (e.g. GIT, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus
• Interest in the financial or commodity markets
• Genuine interest in system support, configuration and development
• Strong analytical mindset and conceptual skills
• Fluent in English
