Job Description:

Our client are one of Austria's most exciting and innovative IT consultancies based in Vienna. They are now looking to expand their already highly talented team of IT specialists and are looking for a Business Analyst and with knowledge of Project Management.

Your daily tasks will be to provide:

• Business analysis of core systems and processes in life insurance
• Implementation of insurance core systems (integrate new system with web interface into HOST-based legacy system) in a complex environment with approx. 50 legacy applications and 1,000 interfaces intensive communication with the department
• Part-project management by strong coordination effort partly in an international environment
• Creation of epics, the framework for the necessary user stories and the user stories themselves
• Support of the walk-throughs of the respective processes
• Obtaining the effort estimates of others involved in the software development process (e.g., architecture, development, testing)

You have the following experience:

• University degree, ideally business administration, academic insurance salesman or a comparable qualification
• At least 3-5 years professional experience, ideally in business organization and / or specialist life insurance
• Experience in business analysis
• Basic knowledge of business architecture and analysis methods (e.g., ERM, OOA, OOD, SCRUM)
• Analytical and organizational thinking
• Good communication skills and confident appearance
• Enjoying good cooperation in changing teams
• Good German and English skills
