We have the pleasure of working with one of the best IT consultancies in Europe that have an opportunity for a skilled Test Manager to work with a client of theirs in Switzerland. The project language is in German so you will need to speak it. 

Job Description:

Our client are one of Austria's most exciting and innovative IT consultancies based in Austria. They are now looking to expand their already highly talented team of specialists and are looking for a Test Manager to join their client on a project in Switzerland within the retail sector.

Your daily tasks will be to provide the:

• Creation of test plans, methods & processes
• Definition of the test metrics
• Definition of the requirements of the required infrastructure
• Control and coordination of all integration test activities across all program areas
• Institutionalization of the defect management in the present program
• Methodical support of function and system tests
• Review of the test environments
• Planning & coordination of the integration tests (including infrastructure)
• Conducting test meetings / lessons learned / daily standups
• Budgeting & controlling
• Escalation defect & issue management

Reporting Testing: Progress & Quality

• Lead and support test coordinators, testers and key users
• Planning and implementation of test, acceptance and approval
• Representation of the test coordinator in this program
• Project language is in German so you must be able to speak it

Ideally you have the following experience:

• Very good technical understanding
• IT know-how (application, network, server, hardware)
• Test Management ISTQB
• High affinity for new technologies (digitization)
• Prudence and calm
• If possible you have experience from the retail industry
• You have strong leadership skills: interdisciplinary as well as matrix: project and operation

 Additional information:

• There will be remote work feasible but more time onsite preferred.
