Our client are a well respected IT consultancy who are leading suppliers to the financial services industry. They now have an opportunity for a Murex project manager to join them in Frankfurt.

Job Description:

Our client are a leading IT consultancy based in the beautiful city of Vienna. They are now looking for an experienced Murex Project Manager.

Your tasks will be to provide:

  • Subproject management of the stream Risk & Limits
  • Planning, controlling and reporting in terms of scope, effort, deadline, degree of completion, quality to the project management
  • Determination of resource requirements, resource planning and coordination with project management, resource control and tracking
  • Ongoing validation of work progress in the subproject and initiation of preventive measures or countermeasures to secure deadlines and results
  • Active risk management and implementation of escalations in case of delays, resource shortage, quality deficit, etc.
  • Analysis of new requirements
  • Planning in terms of effort, deadline, quality and resources
  • Communicate and coordinate common tasks with Murex SAS

You have the following skills:

  • Project management experience in risk controlling, management environment
  • Leadership experience (social skills, conflict management, governance, coaching)
  • Knowledge and application experience of different project management methods
  • Good to very good knowledge of Mx 3.1 and MLC
  • Asset Classes: IRD, FX, FXD, MM, FI
  • Processes and Modules: Front Office, Middle Office, Simulation, Pricing (P & L, P & L VaR, Accrual P & L), Market Risk (Sensi, VaR), Credit, and Others. Liquid Risk, E-TradePad, Trade Management (Processing), Accounting Modules
  • Sound knowledge of the money / capital market (products and processes)

Ideally you have the following general skills:

  • Banking background
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong communication skills, high team skills and resilience
  • German and English fluently in spoken and written
